At school we will be celebrating this in lessons and tutor time.
Celebrated globally every year, Safer Internet Day offers the opportunity offers the opportunity to highlight positive uses of technology and to explore the role we all play in helping to create a better and safer online community. It calls upon young people, parents, carers, teachers, social workers, law enforcement, companies, policymakers, and wider, to join together and play their part for a better internet. Ultimately, a better internet is up to us!
Visit the Parents and carers’ page here: https://www.saferinternet.org.uk/safer-internet-day/2018/sid2018-education-packs/education-pack-parents-and-carers

* A fact sheet yourselves
* Some quick activities
* Fun activities
* Ideas for sharing the news about SID on social media
* A “Family Pledge” for all of you to sign together and pin up at home.
