Students from Years 7, 8 and 9 are invited to nominate their favourite book from 2011 for this year's Ealing Readers Award.

ERA is a book prize that is awarded by the KS3 students in Ealing schools.

  • Each student in Y7, Y8 and Y9 may nominate one book for the award.

  • Books that are eligible are works of FICTION that were first published in 2011.

  • Nominated books must have been published in 2011. If you are not sure when a book was published, ask one of the Librarians.

  • The Library has a shelf of books published in 2011 to start you off reading for ERA. These books have round green stickers on their spines.

  • Nomination forms are now available from the Librarians.

  • Don’t nominate your book too early, you might find another book that you like even more!

  • The last day for nominations is Thursday 1st March.

  • Nominations will be collected from all the High Schools taking part and the books with most nominations will be put on the ERA shortlist. The winner will be decided at a special event in June.
