Year 11 Science

Year 11 Assessments in Science will take place alongside other assessments in the half term before Easter. 

Each assessment will be 1 hour long.

Students have been given a Science revision workbook they can use and keep, which has a timetable they should be following as a minimum guideline for revision. Students have also been given access exam question packs to practice and mark on FROG.

It is essential that your child attempts these exams with the aim of achieving the best possible results they can.

Topics that will be tested:

  • Biology Separate and Biology Combined: B1 Cell Level Systems, B2 Scaling Up, B3 Organism Level Systems.
  • Chemistry Separate and Chemistry Combined: C1 Particles, C2 Elements, Compounds & Mixtures, C3 Chemical Reactions.
  • Physics Separate: P1 Matter, P2 Forces, P3 Electricity, P4 Magnetism and Magnetic Fields.
  • Physics Combined: P1 Matter, P2 Forces, P3 Electricity and Magnetism.

Revision resources can be found on Frog which include past paper questions, board works quizzes and mindmaps. Students also have access to the online textbook and further practice questions at https://www.kerboodle.com.
