Congratulations to Year 10 students Jack Lambert, who spoke about Peter Sellers and Tomas Tchalkian, who talked about being Greek. Both students represented Cardinal Wiseman School in the Ealing Borough Final of this public speaking competition.

Whilst Cardinal Wiseman did not win overall on the night, both Jack and Tomas were both outstanding and gained a very positive response from the Brentside High School audience. It was a wonderful evening with great musical interludes from some very talented musicians from Brentside.

The winning school was Elthorne Park. It was a lovely opportunity for students across Ealing to mix and share stories and ideas and gain great confidence in being able to speak in public. This is a skill that will serve them well now and in the future. Both students were true ambassadors for our school community. Well done boys!
