Dick and Dom come to Cardinal Wiseman!

On Friday November 30th, BBC Radio 4Extra spent the day at Cardinal Wiseman recording a series of radio programmes with the presenters Dick and Dom.

On Friday November 30th, BBC Radio 4Extra spent the day at Cardinal Wiseman recording a series of radio programmes with the presenters Dick and Dom. Year 7 and 8 students were involved in recording a variety of experiments aimed at answering the questions ‘How dangerous is your school?’. From microbiology to momentum, each experiment involved a Science expert who showed the students fun and easy ways to explore their surroundings. The BBC team were very impressed with all of the students at Cardinal Wiseman, and by all accounts, the students enjoyed the opportunity to meet Dick and Dom and be part of this exciting programme.

The recordings are scheduled to go out in five daily segments from Monday 28th January – Friday 1st February, during the 4 O’Clock Show, on BBC Radio 4Extra. Radio 4Extra is a digital-only station, so students and parents will need a digital radio to hear it – or they can listen online. Each programme will be available on the iplayer for 7 days after broadcast, just go to the homepage (www.bbc.co.uk/radio4extra and navigate to the 4 O’Clock Show).
