On Thursday February 10th, Khaleda Zaheer, Hermine Kudia, Charis Charles and Laura Tyler in Year 12, took part in the Oxford Schools Debating Competition at St. Paul's School in Barnes.

The students did extremely well and came up against some very tough competition. The debates focused on the private lives of sports' players and potentially allowing British soldiers to refuse to fight in specific countries or wars. It was a wonderful evening and a great way to develop our students' debating skills. Some of these students will represent Cardinal Wiseman in the Durham Schools Debating Competition in March 2011.

Well done to all involved. A great night of debating.
