School Operations - Severe Weather

Read more for public exam information arrangements and the weather update page in case of severe weather

We have put in place contingency plans that are aimed at keeping the School open even if there is significant snowfall. In the unlikely event of the school closing, the following arrangements will be in place:

Public Examinations:
Students sitting public examinations should make every effort to get into School and some flexibility can be allowed (up to 30 minutes) for those candidates delayed by adverse weather conditions. It is the responsibility of parents/carers to get would be candidates to and from examinations. If getting into school is impossible, students will not be able to re-take papers until the Summer.

Student Work:
If the School is closed because of severe weather, students will be able to access work through the ‘weather update’ page on the website.
