On Tuesday, Students from Pield Heath House School came in for their regular visit to our library to return their library books and to choose some new ones. Pield Heath is a school for young people with moderate to severe learning difficulties.

As usual, the afternoon began with Ms McKenzie sharing a story with everyone. This time she read ‘Oh no. George’ by Chris Haughton, a story about a dog who tries very hard to be good but sometimes being good can be very hard work!

The group were then joined by three Cardinal Wiseman six formers, Jennifer, Kiera and Vikki and all enjoyed decorating biscuits together.  As Adam said, the results were ‘outrageous’!

The sixth formers were able to use their knowledge of our library to assist the visitors when choosing books to borrow for the month, after which all enjoyed some time to chat in the library. Before getting back on the bus the group had a quick snack and were able to sample their outrageously decorated biscuits. See the Photograph Gallery
