Anti Bullying Roadshow

This week Cardinal Wiseman's Year 8 students were lucky enough to have the people from Actionwork come in and do their annual Anti-Bullying Roadshow. The roadshow provided an interactive and fun way to explore the problems of bullying and what can be done about it. This years road show was a role play focusing on the relationship between two siblings, one of which was disabled, and the bullying they both experienced due to this disability. The students then got to take part in the game show to check their understanding and ensure that they knew what to do in any situation which involved bullying. They then reflected on this after and made pledges, of how this month they will show that they love their neighbour and stop bullying in the community. Year 8's will now be able to be the pioneering year group with their insider knowledge for Anti Bullying week in two weeks time.
