I hope that all Year 13 students and their families have had an opportunity to rest over the Christmas break
I hope that all Year 13 students and their families have had an opportunity to rest over the Christmas break. I also trust that a great deal of revision has been carried out and will continue to take place prior to the mock examinations. These examinations are of pivotal importance to all students and I trust that you will support us in reinforcing this message to your child.
I am pleased to report that after having analysed the Year 13 December progress grades, I can confirm that the following students are currently on target in all subject areas in relation to their A2 global target grade.
I am delighted to announce that Ammar Alhadi is currently above target in all of his courses. Julian Tang and Michael Doherty are above target in two subjects and Alessandro Sanchez, Eleanor Sullivan, Tristian Daniels, Jade Jones and Faris Tamimi are above target in one subject. I would like to congratulate all of these students.
It is now essential that the extra efforts continue to take place and that revision continues to be an absolute priority over the coming weeks. A reminder that all Year 13 students are due back on Monday January 19th 2015 at the usual time. There will be Year 13 assemblies on Monday January 19th and Tuesday January 20th at 3.10pm in the school hall. Attendance is compulsory for all students. Mock examinations begin at 9.00am and 1.30pm next week in room J217. The Study Centre will continue to be open as usual; however, the Year 13 Social Area will be closed during the mock examination week.
