Return your Gift Aid form and make you school donations worth 25% more
How do I sign up for Gift Aid?
In order to help the school this way, you must pay tax in the UK. If you do, simply complete a Gift Aid form (which requires you to give your name, your address and the date) and then sign a declaration saying that you are a UK taxpayer and that you pay more tax than the amount that the school will reclaim.
If you have made a voluntary contribution, you will have paid tax on that amount. For example if you donated £30 the school can get £7.50 back with Gift Aid so your donation of £30 would become worth £37.50 and it wouldn’t cost you an extra penny!
Here are some examples of how much extra money your child’s school could get in just one year.
