Sixth Form Pathway Evenings
The Sixth Form will be hosting a number of 'Pathway Evenings' for students in Y11.
The aim of these evenings will be to provide detailed information on choosing the right subjects in Sixth Form and how this school helps and supports young people to move on to competitive university and apprenticeship places. Parents will also have an opportunity to discuss their child's application with the Sixth Form team.
The first evening is this Thursday 12th January which is aimed at those students who have the potential to follow the 'Accelerated Pathway'. Parents will already have received an invitation to this from the Headteacher; the evening starts at 6pm in the main school hall. The Academic and Vocational pathway evening is scheduled for 9th February and invites will follow soon for this event.
Student interviews will start the week commencing Monday 16th January - if students or parents have any questions about these evenings or the interview process please contact the 6F Team: 0208 575 8222 Ext 460 or email Mrs Durkin, the Sixth Form Administrator at firstname.lastname@example.org
Ms Somrah (Senior Assistant Headteacher - Director of Sixth Form) and Mrs Sowa (University and Enrichment Advisor) will be available at the Y11 Parents' Evening on Wednesday 18th January for any parent/student who would like further advice and guidance on post 16 subject choices and entry requirements.
