Faith Life

The Cardinal Wiseman Catholic School is a strong community centred on Jesus and founded on Christian faith, love and the teachings of the Catholic Church.  As chaplain, Mrs. Nelle Carty Dalton supports the spiritual and religious life of the school through liturgies, prayer, social justice events and awareness of God’s Presence in all things. The success of Chaplaincy depends on the collaboration and assistance from a cross section of staff, students and local clergy who share their gifts of time and talent to make these activities possible.

Just as the Cardinal Wiseman School has an unwavering commitment to all students and their well-being, the Chaplain (and chaplaincy) aims to serve all staff and students regardless of their beliefs or views. All are welcome and encouraged to visit the chapel for prayer, reflection, silence in the midst of a busy day or to speak with the chaplain.

Year of Faith

From 11 October 2012 - 24 November 2013, the Catholic Church around the world is celebrating the 'Year of Faith.' At Cardinal Wiseman, we have already had assemblies marking the beginning of this Year of Faith, and will make it a prominent part of our weekly liturgies. Stay tuned for various events and opportunities for the entire community to mark this year where we examine more closely what it means to be a people of faith.
