71 Students across Years 10, 11 and 12 took part in this year's British Physics Olympiad Competitions, completing some challenging physics problem solving papers and online challenges. 

The students all applied themselves excellently and preserved even when faced with some very difficult questions. The skills they have been able to develop in preparing and completing the competitions will greatly support their problem-solving abilities and develop their physics and mathematical skills.

Both Year 10 and Year 11 exceeded the national average for the Gold and Silver award categories.
