Festival of Hope

We were delighted, along with students from our Lady of the Visitation Primary School, to attend the Festival of Hope at Westminster Cathedral with our Year 7 students, to mark the Jubilee Year 'Pilgrims of Hope'

The Diocese had organised a vibrant celebration of faith and community with the event bringing together young people from Catholic schools across all the Catholic schools.

Throughout the event, students took part in uplifting worship, music, and reflections focused on hope, service, and the joy of faith. It was a truly inspiring experience that encouraged our students to think deeply about their role in the Church and the wider world. It was lovely to meet some friends of Cardinal Wiseman from Cafod and Aid to the Church in Need.

We are incredibly proud of our students, both in representing our community and in embracing the spirit of the day with enthusiasm and reverence. The celebration concluded with a service and Adoration which was led by His Eminence Cardinal Vincent Nichols.

Following the service our students were treated to a rare trip to the Crypt to see the tomb of Cardinal Wiseman.
